It is merely quintessential quaintness in a vertical, upright rectitude
towards a grammatical virtue that leads into free-spirited expression.
Does Hypnosis really work for alien abductions? What else is it used for?
This first part of this post sort of mimics a Q & A page, as the world wide web is currently littered with
inane "question & answer" pages, so I thought I'd write a few of my own that are not quite as shallow in
thought, sort of like the one I wrote yesterday:
"Ultimate Fate of the Universe - Big Crunch? Multiverse that never ends?"
The second part quickly covers subjects like the sub-conscious, conscious, and super-conscious
minds, which semi-relates to the initial subject at hand.
Anyway, if you browse through this website for very long, you'll find that it contains a lot of alien/UFO
related pages, an informative, semi-interesting blog section, and an awesome sexy babes gallery, for
the most part. Sure, there are some miscellaneous crap on here as well, but this particular question
relates to the Aliens from another World and/or Planet short-story section.
At any rate, when watching television shows about alien abduction or while reading about it online, I
often hear about how the abductee (I'm not talking about cow abductions, either; ha!) often undergoes
hypnosis to reveal what actually happened to them during their moment of blackout and/or loss of time
and memory while being up in the spaceship getting tested by little grey aliens with big black eyes, as
they so commonly report. In case you really are lost, hypnosis is basically a trance state the patient is
put into, to sort of heighten sub-conscious activity, concentration, imagination, relaxation, etc.
On the other hand, many of these folks don't require hypnosis as they claim to have not "blacked out"
or had a loss of time or memory. On the same note, not all of the "abductees" report the little grey
aliens either, as there have also been other types reported like Reptilians, Nordics, giant greys, and so
on. Ah, hell, here is a quick overview from Wikipedia:
"Mainstream scientists reject claims that the phenomenon literally occurs as reported. However, there is little doubt that many
apparently stable persons who report alien abductions believe their experiences were real. As reported in the Harvard University
Gazette in 1992, Dr. John Edward Mack investigated over 800 claimed abductees, and "spent countless therapeutic hours with
these individuals only to find that what struck him was the 'ordinariness' of the population, including a restaurant owner, several
secretaries, a prison guard, college students, a university administrator, and several homemakers ... 'The majority of abductees
do not appear to be deluded, confabulating, lying, self-dramatizing, or suffering from a clear mental illness,' he maintained. "While
psychopathology is indicated in some isolated alien abduction cases," Stanley Krippner confirmed, "assessment by both clinical
examination and standardized tests has shown that, as a group, alien/UFO abductees are not different from the general
population in term of psychopathology prevalence." Other experts who have argued that abductees' mental health is no better or
worse than average include psychologists John Wilson and Rima Laibow, and psychotherapist David Gotlib. Some abduction
reports are quite detailed..." Blah, blah... And then it goes on to say:
"Many alien abductees recall much of their abduction(s) through hypnosis. Because of this, it is claimed by some skeptics that
the vast majority of evidence for alien abduction is based on memories 'recovered' through hypnosis. Due to the extensive use of
hypnosis, the abduction narratives are frequently explained by skeptics as false memories and suggestions by the
That's enough of that, as I'm sure many of y'all have heard about this subject to no end. But what about
that hypnosis stuff? Does it really work? What else is it used for?
Well, that's when I stumbled across a lot of supposed uses, while searching about this subject online.
It is crazy what they claim it can used for, but here are a few examples of the benefits of hypnosis that I
found on some established medical-related sites, believe it or not: Asthma, Pain control, Allergies,
Smoking cessation, Mental health conditions, Reducing stress related to medical procedures, Skin
conditions (WTF?), Surgical preparation, Weight Loss, Childbirth (uh, okay?), Dental procedures,
Gastrointestinal problems, Athletic performance, and Coping with chemotherapy. Wow! If hypnosis can
help people with all of the problems and conditions mentioned prior, then maybe there is some truth to
it being useful for alien abductions! Question closed!
Part 2 of this page will briefly cover the aspects of the sub-conscious, conscious, and super-conscious
A 3-in-1 combo gone mad, out trying to unravel the properties of a universe we once had. The theory of
unity is upon us, yet many scrambled parts are often lost...
Many great thinkers & scientists have come & gone; many a philosopher and religionist have delved
into the unknown, and many a dull-minded being with primitive survival skills continue to spawn... This
post concentrates on the three primary levels of consciousness, which is the sub-conscious (the lower
self), the reasoning mind known as the conscious (the middle self) and the "higher self" known as our
super-conscious. One must realize from here, the MIND is a universe in itself!
The sub-conscious mind is due to a pre-existing state along with everyday stimuli and a bit more, to say
the least. ...An ongoing recorder of information, if you will.
True, it can act as a database for memories and scrambled emotion, yet it may also hold the key to our
past lives (for the ones who have reincarnated), and help us during present times along with our
The sub-conscious never stops, and it is an ongoing process run behind our mainframe. This lovely
part of your inner self helps aid in your visualization and radiates your overall senses.
The dream world can't exist without it...
A person could never be clairvoyant and/or psychic without an enhanced sub-conscious, for example.
Your sub-conscious is truly your inner world... Once you find the key that allows you to explore this
option to its fullest, you'll truly understand what "sub" really means...
The middle mind, conscious self, is sort of like the captain of your vessel and/or the one that makes
decisions, applies logic and reasons with the conflicting inner & outer "self." This is the level that has
the ability to change, flow, blend, inhibit, slow, speed up or resist, all senses known to man. From this
middle ground, you have the ability to change or to remain stagnant, as it is the breach of the bridge
that doesn't seem to be allowed to cross, at times, but that is something in which you can overcome - if
you choose to do such!
The outer mind, higher self, super-conscious is often known as the spiritual mind. It is from this point,
when people can feel outside of their realm, become one with self and through whatever means
(meditation, prayer, etc.), can understand quantum entanglement and how we are all atomically
connected to the universe while contemplating astral travel in a sense within the exotic spiritual realm
of the 5th dimension. Having a higher self and/or feeling this altered level of personal attunement can
seem kooky for many via the conscious mind, but once you understand the inner and middle aspects of
the mind, the super-conscious outer mind is actually the one that doesn't involve time or a past or a
How do we blend our sub-conscious, conscious, and super-conscious minds? One must first remember
their past and absorb their present while becoming their future... Yeah, this all sounds like
pseudo-science and a spurious philosophy at best, albeit there is a way to blend (harmonize) all three
minds, but it is not up to me to tell you how. You have all the time in the world, and we are all on
different levels. Stay in Kindergarten class if you wish, howbeit the option to advance is still there for
the ones who are able......
